Chetan Chandgude

Chetan Chandgude, better known across the Indian gaming community as Kronten, grew up in a middle-class household in Pune, Maharashtra, the son of an Army officer. His path from there to becoming one of India’s most recognised names in gaming is the kind of story the community loves to tell. He began his YouTube journey in early 2018, starting with PUBG gameplay roughly a month after launching his channel, and the quality and scale of his content has grown enormously since.
Unlike most of his TeamIND contemporaries, Kronten built his presence largely through English-language commentary, a deliberate choice that helped him carve out a distinct identity. He was one of just four Indian gaming creators invited to the inaugural YouTube Gaming Creators Summit in Palm Springs, Los Angeles, alongside BeastBoyShub, CarryisLive, and Dynamo. He holds the YouTube Gold Play Button and has won PUBG Esports competitions. Beyond his own channel, Kronten is the founder and CEO of GodLike Esports, a name that has become a household term in Indian competitive gaming. Co-run with his brother Amar Chandgude, GodLike now operates across multiple titles including BGMI, Call of Duty: Mobile, and Counter-Strike 2. With the organisation navigating roster rebuilds and preparing for the BGIS 2026 Grand Finals, Kronten has transitioned fully from competitive play to leadership, and his strategic vision for the organisation, including plans for an international bootcamp facility, signals that his ambitions for Indian esports extend well beyond the current horizon.
