Abhishek Upmanyu

Abhishek Upmanyu is the kind of comedian who tells a story so casually that you suddenly realize you’ve been laughing non-stop for five minutes.
Before stand-up, he was actually a chemical engineer and research analyst, which means somewhere along the way he looked at spreadsheets and thought, “Nope… I’d rather roast life on stage.”
His bits about friendships, breakups, rich people, and random everyday annoyances feel painfully relatable. Videos like “Jealous of Sabjiwala” and “Thoda Saaf Bol” became instant fan favourites.
Watching him perform feels less like a comedy show and more like a very funny friend narrating life’s weird little observations.
